Application deadlines and admissions calendar

MESPOM has opened applications for the 2022-2024 study period. As in previous years, CEU in Vienna will receive and process the applications on behalf of the consortium. EMJMD scholarships will not be available for MESPOM students in 2022-2024 but as in previous years we will offer other types of financial assistance such as partial tuition fee waivers and CEU Master’s excellence scholarships for the study periods in Vienna. See the financial aid section of the MESPOM website.

All MESPOM applications should be made through the Central European University's online application system in accordance with CEU Admission Requirements and with respect to the MESPOM-specific eligibility requirements and application procedure.

APPLICATION DEADLINES

Application deadlines for the 2022-2024 study period are (see also the CEU admission webpage for more details):

  • February 1, 2022*: DEADLINE for applicants who wish to be considered for financial aid. 
  • March 15, 2022*: DEADLINE For self-financing applicants who are citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA area and require a study visa
  • August 15, 2022*: DEADLINE For self-financing applicants who are citizens of EU/EEA countries.

All applications must be complete with applicable standard test scores (TOEFL, IELTS, etc.).

 Notes:

 *Applications must be submitted before 23:59 hrs Central European Time on the given date.

ADMISSIONS CALENDAR

The admission process will include a check of eligibility requirements and selection by the MESPOM Academic Board.

Interviews are not an obligatory element of the MESPOM admission process. They are conducted at the direction of reviewers, usually to clarify or supplement information provided in written application. Whether or not an applicant is invited for an interview is not an indication of the outcome of the selection process.

Admissions Calendar for financial aid applicants

February 1, 2022, 23:59 Central European Time (CET)

Application deadline for studies with financial aid.

February 15, 2022 onwards

Formal review results become available to applicants through the on-line application system (Applicant Portal). No available decision means having passed the formal review.

February 22, 2022

Appeals for formal review may be submitted till February 22.

April 4, 2022 onwards

Final admissions decisions and acceptance offers are published on the Applicant Portal in SITS.

April 4-12, 2022 

Appeals on final decision open on April 4. Applicants who wish to submit an appeal must follow the official appeals procedure. All appeals must be submitted to coordinator@mespom.eu within the above specified time frame. Please note that rejection decisions will be overturned only on procedural grounds.

Admissions Calendar for self-financing applicants

March 15, 2022, 23:59 Central European Time (CET)

Final application deadline for self-financing applicants who are citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA area and require a study visa.

April 15, 2022 onwards

Admission decision on self-financing applicants become available in the on-line application system (Applicant Portal).

Appeals on final decision for self-financing applicants may be submitted for formal review till April 27. Applicants who wish to submit an appeal must follow the official appeals procedureAll appeals must be submitted to coordinator@mespom.eu. Please note that rejection decisions will be overturned only on procedural grounds. 

Acceptance Forms are sent to admitted self-financing candidates on a rolling basis. 

August 15, 2022

Final application deadline for self-financing master's applicants from EU/EEA countries (study visa not required). Applicants are reviewed on a rolling basis. Acceptance Forms are sent to admitted candidates shortly after decision.

Accepted students will have to return their signed Acceptance Forms, pay the deposit and provide official copies of their full academic records before enrollment.
