Residency document

FOR APPLICANTS WHO WISH TO BE CONSIDERED FOR FINANCIAL AID:

There are two types of EMJMD scholarship based on the residency of selected applicants:

I) Programme Country scholarships:
for selected applicants who are citizens of one of the countries of the European Union, the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Turkey.

II) Partner Country scholarships:
for selected applicants from all other countries (who are citizens of one of the countries not listed above), provided that they are not residents nor have carried out their main activity (studies, training or work) for more than a total of 12 months over the last five years in any of the Programme Countries listed above.

In order for us to determine the type of scholarship you are eligible you are required to submit the following document as part of the online application form:

A scanned copy of an official document that certifies your residence*.
The residence certificate needs to be issued in accordance with your municipality's normal registration rules. It must be an officially notarized copy in English or an official English translation of the original document and must have been issued within 12 months before the application deadline.

If it's impossible for you to get this type of form because it's not issued in the area of the world where you live, please email coordinator@mespom.eu to ask about alternatives.
Types of documents that are NOT accepted in place of the residence cerficate are passports, driver's licences, bills, bank statements, etc.

Please upload the residence certificate as a PDF document to the relevant section of the online application form if you wish to be considered for financial aid.

*Applicants selected for an Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters Degree scholarship will be required to submit the original of the uploaded document at the time of enrollment.
